Myanmar honors countries, including Sri Lanka that assisted aftermath the earthquake

The Government of Myanmar honored the countries, including Sri Lanka, that assisted after the catastrophic Earthquake of 7.7 magnitude, which struck the country a year ago. The honorary medals were presented during a ceremony to mark the first anniversary of the Earthquake, which was held on the 28th March 2026, at Myanmar International Convention Center in Nay Pyi Taw. The Medical Heavy Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief Team of Sri Lanka, which consisted of the members of Tri Forces, arrived in Myanmar, on 05th April 2025, and attended for the urgent humanitarian medical requirements of the affected people, during the month of April 2025.
